My daughter turned 8! I can not believe I am a mother of an 8 year old! AND that she is growing up so fast! This shoot wasn’t really even a shoot, just her after school as we passed her favorite patch of flowers growing along the road. In the midst of how busy life can be these days, it is always good to take a step back and reflect on the little things…like our growing children! This is so my daughter, nature lover, flower picker, cowboy boot wearing diva! Happy Birthday to you TT! I love you!

It was probably one of the most amazing experiences to be part of my good friends birth. Brittany was glowing and smiling through out the whole birth. No really, she was! Her experience at Home Birth Kauai was unforgettable. I am so grateful for being a part of this birth experience and it was a beautiful, calm and peaceful way to bring a new life into this world.
Much love to the Kurowski Family and their new addition!
Note to self: If I ever get the chance to document another birth I need to remove myself a bit more. I was just so excited to be a part of her birth that I didn’t get as much of the story as I wish I would have. I loved EVERY minute of it and I am so happy to have been there for the birth of their 4th child. ….And I have to agree I think Kinley should have Meadow somewhere in her name as mom birthed & walked around the meadow for quite some time
Happy Birthday Kinely! Welcome to this beautiful world!!!!

Who says the terrible two’s have to be a terrible stage!? This two year old charmed the camera for a fun birthday portrait session thru Waimea Town. Her mom wanted the portrait to reflect their daily routine as her child was two. To me this was the perfect portrait, truly capturing this stage of your child’s life in time, true lifestyle photography! We started our walking tour at Aloha & Paradise Expresso Bar and Gallery. As us mommies chatted and charged up on some caffeine little miss birthday girl dazzled the sidewalks with her chalk creations. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon photographing this little angel and I am glad I finally found a second to get her cuteness up on my blog…Enjoy!

Valley girls always muddy but still looking cute mud and all!
