I love me some beautiful bellies! Shanna just glowed in her mommy to be glory, seriously how beautiful is she!? First time parents are always the best…because they are so oblivious to what’s coming next! LOL You know…the cute cuddly baby of course! Baby Liam is hangin’ tight still yet, the waiting game has begun. I can not wait to meet him!!
Ok to be honest, I love trash the dress sessions!!!! It’s a super fun way to get some really relaxed images without the time constraints of your wedding day! It’s so fun to just have fun with your dress and hey the waters warm here…so why not dip in!
I photographed Jeff & Tamah a few days before for their beautiful intimate island wedding. Tamah & Jeff had so much fun and were overwhelmed by the beauty that the north shore of Kauai held they wanted more images. So they scheduled a day after session where they cut loose and got wet! How fun is that!

Such a beautiful time in one’s life…carrying a baby inside one’s womb. It goes by so fast and is one of those moments in life that you look back upon forever. A time I feel should be captured in a photograph…Especially when your as beautiful as this mommy to be!

June was busy, busy, busy with weddings and portraits…I am grateful indeed to be so blessed with a wealth of amazing clients who let me get creative with them and that I can do what I love to do. On top of all this work I had two busy kids home from school on summer break making my days filled with adventures and sleepless nights left to editing…here is a preview into one of the events I captured this month….
Melissa & Eric got married out on the Kaneohe Sandbar in Oahu…we sailed sail boats out into the middle of the bay at low tide and guests were shuttled in on boats to a 3 acre sand bar in the middle of the bay, what an adventure and a truly amazing event! Over 1000 images taken so these are just a few…enjoy !
Here’s also a video link to the after party once the water came up on the sandbar! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAI4Gt9Ao2o&feature=related FUN TIMES!!

It’s amazing to me sometimes that such natural beauty still exists! I feel so lucky in my life to have spent my days in such beautiful places. To have grown up in one of the most competition rich cities full of culture and inspiration, to have been able to travel to some of the most astounding landscapes and now to have my abode in one of the worlds most beautiful islands. In a modern world so polluted with greed, man-made toxins and structures, to me I find peace and inspiration amongst nature, its silence, its colors and its beauty.
