Sun setting along the ocean as their backdrop, trade winds gently blowing, family & friends gathered to witness true love! That was the setting of this beautiful intimate wedding, along Kauai’s Western most shore. It was simply an elegant event. Boasting great charm and originality and masterfully crafted by planner Marlene Mira of Mira Mira Events at Kekaha’s Ocean Front Fischer House & Cottage. I loved this couple & this wedding, it was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day! Enjoy a few of my favs from their event…it was hard for me to pick just a few
Keepsake Albums are by far the best ways to cherish your images forever. They tell your story and can be shared like a coffee table album to friends and family for years to come.
I love offering unique professional papers and custom cover options to my clients making your album be about you and your style. Custom finished papers make the images really pop! To me it’s important that my clients take away something breathtaking from their session. I am not talking about just getting images themselves on a disk to throw in the desk drawer and never to look at again, but a work of ART! I DO feel it is important to have a professionally created piece after your session to have at least one awesome piece to go away with. Let me create a keepsake album from your wedding &/or session and make your story be told and come to life.
Please take a moment and view the incredible Layflat Album (solid brown) & Flush Mount Albums (speckled brown).
Boutique Packaging included.
Capturing a couple’s wedding love story is such an exciting, heart warming privilege for me. I always feel so connected to my couples after being a part of their day. Especially these intimate destination weddings, where the wedding is all about the couple! Jonas & Heather were so relaxed, in love and had such passion for one another! I know you two will have a beautiful life together and hopefully make some more cutie pie kiddos while your at it!
Congratulations Jonas & Heather, many blessings in your future together as husband & wife.
Hope you all enjoy a glimpse into their amazing day!!
Ok to be honest, I love trash the dress sessions!!!! It’s a super fun way to get some really relaxed images without the time constraints of your wedding day! It’s so fun to just have fun with your dress and hey the waters warm here…so why not dip in!
I photographed Jeff & Tamah a few days before for their beautiful intimate island wedding. Tamah & Jeff had so much fun and were overwhelmed by the beauty that the north shore of Kauai held they wanted more images. So they scheduled a day after session where they cut loose and got wet! How fun is that!

Jeff & Tamah were such a fun, super energetic couple! Their love for each other was contagious!! Tamah was a fun loving, 3rd grade teacher whom, I hit it off with instantly at our first meeting. Since I used to teach myself and since my daughter was going into 3rd grade we just connected on so many levels! I kinda wish she would just pack her bags and move to Kauai just to teach my daughter! But so far I haven’t been so lucky! Jeff was so fun too, many guys don’t really get into the picture taking and are ready for it to be over before it begins. Not Jeff, he was enthusiastic and ready to strike a pose any which way with his new beautiful wife!
They chose the most intimate wedding location for their ceremony at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens on the south shore of Kauai. Being an avid gardner, a botanist by hobby, and a lover of botanical photography, I was super excited about the picture taking opportunities the Gardens had to offer. I am sure you will agree they did a great job picking the botanical gardens for their intimate destination island wedding!
We had a lot of laughs, a lot of rainbows and a lot of fun!
Congrats Jeff & Tamah on finally making it official after all these years! May you enjoy each others company for many more years to come!
It was my pleasure to be a part of Anthony & Jessica’s wedding day! I had a blast at their event out on Long Island’s North Fork @ Giorgio’s Catering of Bating Hallow. The food was amazing, service unreal and the party well…there ain’t no party like an east coast party!
These guys could DANCE! WOW! We are pretty boring here in Hawaii LOL.
I loved having the opportunity to photograph such an event in Long Island, New York this summer. It was very different than our events in Kauai. Yet, every bit as beautiful!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from this beautiful and super fun wedding from back east!
I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session with Kellin & Marshall before their big day, so it was nice to see them again on their wedding day. I love doing engagement sessions, it helps get rid of those wedding jitters and allows the couple to be confident in me as their photographer to relax and be themselves. I often create great relationships with my clients who choose to have more than one session with me. Taking pictures soon becomes easier as it’s no longer taking pictures of strangers, but of friends.
Their intimate event was planned by the amazing Marie Foster, of Legacy Events. Marie does a wonderful job on events of any size, she takes the stress out of a day that should be enjoyed and not stressed over.
Here are a few of my favorites from their intimate destination wedding here on Kauai.
Aloha
Rob & Tara asked me to photograph their ceremony on the beautiful Waimea Pier in our town here in Waimea. It was an honor to be a part of their day! I have known Tara for a few years now, she’s my hairdresser
Tara is a total sweet heart and Rob is a super fun loving guy, who is quick to crack a joke! It was a blast photographing their local style wedding, super laid back, super emotional and super fun! This wedding portrayed the true Aloha spirit where the entire Waimea community and family came together to do what they could for this beautiful loving couple!
Congrats Rob & Tara, may you live happily ever after! Aloha!

Talk about a fun & original wedding!
Outrageous time had by all at this STAR WARS themed wedding! Super original! Not a detail was spared . Down to the island touches with a shave ice station and a STAR WARS themed Photo Booth by BLINKZ Photo Booth Kauai. The detailed planning was crafted by Marlene Mira with Mira Mira Events at the beautiful Plantation Gardens Restaurant on Kauai’s sunny south shore.
As you can see these guys were a hoot….
